T-LYMPHOCYTES ROLE IN ASTHMA PATHOGENESIS
The author reviews the asthma pathogenesis in terms of the Т cells role in the pathology development. The Th2-helper response predominance over the ThI is one of the key elements in the asthma pathogenesis. The T-helper cells role as well as their specific features allowing identify them in bronchial asthma are described. The author presents the data available on these cells functions as well as on their quantitative composition changing and activity under a variety of conditions. Particular attention is paid to the Treg role in asthma. Our own data as well as the results obtained by other authors relating to the cells dynamics at the disease different stages and the specific features allowing identify them depending on the asthma severity and the treatment character are presented. New data obtained will help to improve the asthma diagnosis, development of new pathogenic variants of treatment as well as of different ways of rehabilitation of patients suffering from this disease.
