PREVALENCE OF PERNICIOUS HEALTH HABITS AMONG YOUNG MEN AND THEIR OPINION ABOUT PREVENTION
According to the questionnaire data of 895 men aged 18—30 years (a sample representative for the Republic), it was found that men attributed alcohol consumption and smoking to the young people priority problems. 42.34% of respondents, significantly more often — villagers, are used to smoke. Every fifth respondent, regardless of his residence, indicated that he had consumed alcohol 3 times or more during the last month before questioning. Having acquaintances using psychoactive substances was confirmed by every tenth respondent, more often — spice-type smoking mixtures. About two-thirds of young men, regardless of age, education, marital status, composition of the parent family and relationships with parents, bad habits, consider the state’s activities to prevent drunkenness and drug addiction inadequate. Among those assessing the preventive measures more optimistic the tendency towards higher self-esteem of financial position, opportunities for self-realization, physical health was registered.
