OPTIMIZING DIAGNOSIS OF INFECTIOUS POSTPARTUM ENDOMETRITIS
The aim of the study was to develop a methodology for quantifying the severity of infectious postpartum endometritis. In the work, a sequential statistical analysis of Wald is applied. The disease signs analysis was carried out in 92 puerperas (medium age 25.3±5.4 yrs) with infectious postpartum endometritis. Using the consistent statistical analysis of Wald, a method for quantifying the infectious postpartum endometritis severity was developed and the postpartum endometritis signs were scored from 1 to 9 points. The scoring scale developed can be used in the obstetric-gynecological practice for determining the clinical manifestations of infectious postpartum endometritis severity as well as for comparing the various therapies effectiveness.
