ENTERAL FEEDING IN INTENSIVE CARE: PROBLEM STATE AND EFFICIENCY PHARMACOECONOMIC ANALYSIS

Enteral feeding is the cornerstone of intensive care, and provides significant benefits for critical care patients. Numerous methods and formula in providing nutritional support do not always guarantee an adequate nutrition resulting sometimes in the negative outcomes and total cost of care increase. Implementing of enteral feeding using special formula in Minsk regional clinical hospital has allowed us to reduce the total charges associated with the intensive therapy and to improve the overall statistical key figures.
