ATROPHIC DUODENITIS ON BACKGROUND OF CYTOMEGALOVIRUS INFECTION
Objective. Presentation of successful treatment of a patient with atrophic duodenitis on the background of cytomegalovirus infection.
Results. Cytomegalovirus infection can be one of the causes of atrophic duodenitis causal treatment (combined with the post-syndrome therapy) which leads to the enzymatic-resorptive and motor-evacuation function of the gastrointestinal tract restoration.
Conclusion. In case of atrophic duodenitis it is advisable to carry out a targeted examination to exclude a cytomegalovirus infection.
